Villa Hope, Inc. is a non-profit agency that provides residential services to adults with chronic mental illness, traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities. We have a 15 bed CBRF and Supported Apartments for 32. We have a dynamic, dedicated staff of 14 that bring about change and improvement in the quality of life for our residents

Receptionist.  Part-Time

Perform varied clerical work calling for independent judgement and specialized knowledge in carrying out established procedures. Scheduled to work 18 hours per week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. Possible flexibility with which days during the week. 

 Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of general office procedures, typing, filing, simple bookkeeping and general clerical duties.
• Ability to accept responsibility and exercise independent judgement.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Cooperatively communicate with staff, clients and customers.
• Operate a variety of standard office equipment including phone system switchboard.
• Utilize a computer and required software.

Performs receptionist or counter duties:

• Answer phones and route messages.
• Work with staff and clientele in maintaining smooth operations.
• Communicate information to collateral agencies (i.e. pharmacy, county agencies).
• Maintain monthly forms and distribute in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments with psychiatrist.
• File information in a timely manner.
• Receive and distribute mail. Prepare outgoing mail.
• Keep record of checks from payee services.
• Keep forms updated and supplied in files.
• Perform occasional errands as required with personal vehicle or agency vehicle if available.
• Interact with clients in a friendly, understanding, patient and professional manner both in-person and on phone.
• Complete light housekeeping duties daily.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Duties

Make an impact in the lives or others each day! We are looking for a Case Manager to work within our Community Support Program Team. Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology or counseling desired. Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or related field with experience considered.

Villa Hope CSP provides support for people with severe and persistent mental illness. The program is designed with the belief that consistent and active support, along with interactions that encourage self-sufficiency and independence will aid individual's success in the community. The Case Manager will be the single point of contact and shall maintain a therapeutic relationship with the client on a continuing basis to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the assessment and treatment planning for CSP clients under the direction of the CSP Clinical Coordinator.
• Coordinate with other agencies in order to integrate other services into the treatment plan and advocate to meet client needs.
• Provide symptom management including education and support related to mental illness symptomatology and medications.
• Daily medication monitoring in client homes.
• Teach techniques to promote personal growth and development which require working side by side with the client teaching independent living skills and coping skills.
• Provide work related supportive services and coordination with other agencies.
• Educate, support and consult with client’s family and other significant supports.
• Maintain accurate client records and protection of it.
• Ensure that the clients’ rights per DHS 92/94 are being met.
• Coordinate services for clients in crisis.
• Work within a flexible schedule as required.
• Ability to travel as required and a willingness to use own vehicle to transport clients if company vehicle is not available.
• Other responsibilities as required.
• In addition, the Master's level case manager may need to provide clinical supervision in the absence of the CSP Psychiatrist and Clinical Coordinator and therapy service when appropriate.

Caregiver background check and driver check required. Need to meet state qualifications for a Master's or Bachelor's level case manager in a CSP.
